Almaarefa University

Almaarefa University was established in 2009 in Riyadh, the Dariyah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The university is located in Saudi Arabia’s capital city, Riyadh, located in the middle of the An-Nafud Desert.

Almaarefa University (UM) is a private establishment of higher education, designed to fulfil a recognized public function, by meeting clearly identified needs in important domains for national development. The university has three main colleges: medicine, pharmacy, and applied sciences, across which 10 bachelor of science undergraduate degrees are offered. The degree programmes range in duration from four to six years, most with a one-year internship included.
Four-year courses include computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, health information systems, respiratory therapy, emergency medical services, anaesthesia technology, and nursing. The five-year courses include pharmacy and the six-year course in medicine and surgery.
